‘The Birth Suit’ is a life size cast that seeks to understand the interconnection between materiality and the body. ‘The Birth Suit’ explores the notion of ‘re-birth’ enabling the owner to live in an alternative future and represents a shed skin from the imagined year 3024. The skin protects the owner in unknown worlds, stretching with body movements and shielding them from the atmosphere.
