Lurk, 2018

Lurk blends together the natural and the artificial, exploring how the two can interfere with how we perceive reality. Using colourful, tactile materials such as soft foam and rubber gives alluring qualities that may intrigue the viewer to understand it further, or tempt them to touch. Placed in an environment with natural growing plants, it appears as if it was self-generating, like a foreign object growing from the ground.
